Appearance Design

The birth of each design is derived from the designer’s momentary inspiration. After the designer captures the moment’s inspiration, he leaves it in the design drawings. After many revisions and improvements to the details of the first draft, we will play a 3D prototype to evaluate and modify the hand feel of the door handle. A good door handle must not only have an aesthetic design, but also take into account the actual use hand feel of the door handle, so that the design can be more humane.

 

Develop A Mould

After confirming the final design drawing, the engineer makes a 3D drawing based on the design drawing and the mold master confirm the details of the mold, and then start the mold development. Then when it comes to the T1 trail mold stage, the engineer improves the mold according to the T1 sample, and then performs the T2 trial mold. Repeat the above steps until the trail mold sample meets the requirements. After the mold is modified, the trail production will start. If the trail production is no problem, the mold can be officially put into use.

Die-casting

Using 3# zinc alloy which contains 0.042% copper as raw material, it is melted at high temperature and pressed into the mold, and die-casting with a 160T to 200T die-casting machine for 6s to obtain high-precision and high-density die castings. The door handle is not easily out of shape during subsequent processing, and durability can also be improved during use.

 

Polishing

After the die castings undergoing the preliminary processing, then the polishing process will be carry out. In order to improve the efficiency of polishing, YALIS uses a combination of mechanical automatic polishing and manual polishing to ensure the efficiency and quality of polishing, because the quality of polishing determines the quality of the electroplated layer.


Electroplating

The polished blanks will be quickly sent for electroplating to prevent oxidation of the door handle. In order to improve the oxidation resistance and the brightness of the door handle. Each door handle will be electroplated with 7-8 layers of electroplating at a temperature of 120℃-130℃, and the quality inspection gate will be strengthened to prevent starting blister products, waves products and out of shape products.
